It's so easy to stay in this space of believing that if you just tweak a little more, if you just add some more databases, crossreference some more stuff, then your productivity will skyrocket. It feels so good when your tweaking, lerning how to learn, trying to come up with ways to optmize your life, doesn't it? Yet you can spend dozens of hours on that and it won't, in practical terms, make you one inch closer to achieving your goals, because achieving them requires you to spend your time specifically doing THEM. You see, my concern here is a coupla things.ġ) what I've been calling the "Eternal Preparation/Optimization Trap". I feel there's a huge learning curve to get Notion to actually make my life better, and sometimes I lose motivation looking at what seems the amount of time I'll jave to put in to develop this meta-skill. I mean, is it worth spending dozens if not hundreds of hours, first learning how to use Notion, then tweaking and refining your system thoroughly? Does that at some point actually make your life easier, quicker, seamless? This is a sincere question. and that question is: is this REALLY worth it? This is something I'd like to ask those who have been using this tool for a long time now.
